  1. What do you understand by Animation ? How is it helpful in a presentation ?
    Ans. The ability to move objects like text , graphics , charts and logos etc. in all directions of the slide is called Animation. It is very helpful when we wish to focus on important points. It also controls the order of flow of information and helps to increase the audience interest.
  2. What is meant by Transition ?
    Ans. Transitions are used to add visual effects to the slides. These are movements that you see when one slide changes to another slide in Slide Show view. We can add sound to transitions and control the transition speed .
  3. How can you insert your own sound in a presentation ?
    Ans. To insert sound in a presentation , follow the given steps :
    * Select the slide where you want to add sound.
    * Select the insert tab and click on the Record Audio option in the Media group .
    * A Record Sound dialog box comes up. Type a name for the sound file and click on Record button to start recording your sound.
    * Once completed , click on the Stop button and click Ok.
  4. What is an Action button ? Why do we use it in a slide ?
    Ans. An Action button is a ready-made button shape for defining hyperlink ( a connection from one slide to another slide or to a file ) , to run a program or to play a sound. These are used to add more features to the presentations and to create interactive and dynamic presentations.
