- What do you know about Flash ?
Ans.
• Flash is a powerful animation software package developed by Adobe systems (Formerly Macromedia).
• It is a vector based program which means that the graphics created in it can be scaled to any size without losing the quality.
• It is extremely useful for developing highly interactive websites, online advertisements, computer games and contents for various mobile devices. - What is the difference between Frame and Keyframe ?
Ans. Frames in flash can be defined as little rectangular cells that appear on the timeline. A frame displays the content of the movie at a specific moment on time. Shorcut Key- F5.
Keyframes are special types of frames where we define some change to an object’s properties for an animation – like position , colour ,shape etc. Shorcut Key- F6. - What does the Property Inspector display ?
Ans. The Property Inspector is a panel that displays the properties of the selected object (text , symbol , an image , line or a shape). The list of properties of the selected object varies and can be changed in the property inspector. - What do you understand by Gradient ?
Ans. Gradient means filling colour in an object from light to dark that basically gives shade to an object or a colour formed by mixing of two or more colours in an object. There are two types of gradients – linear and Radial. - How will you rotate an object ?
Ans. Follow the given steps to rotate an object :
• Select the object.
• Select Modify->Transform->Rotate and Skew.
• Click on the Corner handle of the object, the pointer changes to rotation handle.
• Drag the corner handle to rotate the object.
• To end the rotation, click outside the selected object. - How will you import graphics from another file ?
Ans. Select File->Import->Import to Stage . In the Import Dialog box , browse the filename to import . Select the filename and click on Open. The shortcut key to import a picture is Ctrl + R. - What do you know about animation ?
Ans. Animation involves a series of still images, usually painted or sketched, displayed in rapid sequence.
Animation in flash is created by changing the contents of successive frames . We can make an object move across the stage, increase or decrease its size, fade in or out, change colour or shape using animation. - What is Tint Tweening ?
Ans. Tint Tweening is used to change the colour of an object. Tint effects work only on symbols and cannot be added to the object that are drawn directly on the canvas of the Flash movie.
